Initial practice evaluation and estimate

This will determine the amount of effort needed to get your IT systems fixed, updated, optimized, and backed-up

Initial practice configuration and documentation

This hourly service is for offices looking to move into the monthly support plan.  Some offices have had their IT systems neglected and require some effort to clean things up, secure, discover, and document everything.

  • Computer and Server installation, upgrade, or cleanup*

  • Securing and/or upgrading the network, WiFi, and router*

  • Practice management installation/upgrade, standardization, and patching

  • Installation, upgrade, configuration, bridging, and backup of all imaging, intraoral, and 3D systems

Note: This is an hourly charge for the amount time spent on the assignment.  This amount does not change based on the type of work being performed or its results.

Standard hourly rate: $150

* Doesn’t include costs of new purchases, or any parts needed for repair

Monthly service and support (per office)

  • 1 server and unlimited workstations support

  • Unlimited Technician remote access support

  • Unlimited Technician on-site support

  • Secure and encrypted on-site and off-site nightly backups

  • Practice management (Dentrix, EagleSoft, Softdent, etc.) support, upgrades, and patches

  • Imaging (Dexis, Dentrix Imaging Center, Apteryx, InVivo, Sidexis, etc.) support, upgrades, and patches

  • Computer and network security (encryption, data protection, HIPAA, and PCI compliance)

  • Emergency response and rapid-recovery

  • Existing PC/Server repair or replacement*

  • Printer installation/replacement*

  • Supporting 3rd party practice integrations (Weave, Modento, Dental Intelligence, LocalMed, etc.)

  • Free labor for future hardware and software upgrades

  • 33% discount on hourly rate for office moves/adds/changes that aren't covered in the monthly service

  • Complete office IT documentation: IDs, passwords, and configurations for network and all practice management systems

Month to month without a contract (ACH or **credit card only): $495

Moves/adds/changes (with a monthly service plan)

  • Equipment moves (remodel, cleaning, etc.)

  • Networking, audio, surveillance, security, phone cabling installations and/or repairs

  • Practice merger/divestiture, practice management software consolidations

Note: This is an hourly charge for the amount time spent on a Move/Add/Change task.  This amount does not change based on the type of work being performed or its results.

Discounted hourly rate: $100

Hardware purchases

  • I will provide a quote from vendor(s) or provide a web-link to the product(s) that need to be purchased

  • New practice buildout

  • Replacing old or broken computers, monitors, and IT equipment

 

It is preferred that you purchase the equipment with your own financing or credit card.  This avoids any hardware markup and complications with equipment warranties:

Loaner PC, server, or printer (with a monthly service plan)

  • 1 month free for a loaner PC, server, or printer

  • After 1 month, there will be a monthly charge or the option to purchase the loaner

 

The loaner PC, server, or printer will be provided if available.  If the loaner is kept for longer than 1 month, a monthly charge will be added to your monthly service fee. Or there will be the option to purchase.

Vendor Quote

Practice in-depth network, PC, and security analysis and report

This scan will require access to your computers, server(s), network, and router.  The report will only contain an analysis of each system, and any issues that need to be addressed.  This service is often used to troubleshoot performance issues, or system integrity.

Note: This service does not include the cost of fixing any issues identified in this report.  All issue resolutions will be covered by the Standard hourly rate.

One time charge: $300

Office email setup, configuration, and documentation

Stop using Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail email accounts for your office.  I will create email accounts using the office domain you already own.  I will also document how to manage the email accounts so you can easily create, suspend, and delete email users.  Please note, there might be a monthly service fee per email address depending on the email provider you use.  For example, if you use Google G-Suite, the fee is $6/user/month.

One time charge: $300

Backup and recovery* service for servers (without a monthly service plan)

  • On-site nightly server backup

  • Off-site encrypted nightly server backup

  • Backup monitoring and verification

 

This backup service is for offices that elect not to sign up for the monthly service, but still want to take advantage of a secure and tested backup/recovery solution.  The off-site backup is saved to a secure local encrypted storage location.  Because it's local, any emergency restorations can be done within hours, not days.

*Recovery is defined as getting your data back in in your possession.  Recovering your data back to production-ready would require the standard hourly service charge.  Please ask for an estimate if you require production recovery. 

Monthly (ACH or credit card only): $125

Support requests without a monthly service plan

Minimum of 1 hour per request.
